GST (Goods and Services Tax) ek indirect tax hai jo India mein 1st July 2017 ko introduce hua. Iske 5 main rates hain: 0%, 5%, 12%, 18%, aur 28%.
Exclusive GST formula
Jab base price ke upar GST add karna ho:
GST Amount = (Base Price × GST Rate) ÷ 100 Total Price = Base Price + GST Amount
Inclusive GST formula
Jab final price mein GST already included hai:
Base Price = Total ÷ (1 + GST Rate / 100) GST Amount = Total − Base Price
CGST + SGST vs IGST
- Intra-state transaction (same state): GST split into CGST (Central) + SGST (State), 50-50.
- Inter-state transaction (different states): Full GST goes to IGST (Integrated GST).
